MS Dhoni could retire from the Indian Premier League if his conversation with Harsha Bhogle is to be believed. The veteran refused to give any direct answer related to his CSK future.
He talked about a possible return in a different role for the franchise, saying he has got 6-8 months to decide.
“I can’t say anything at the moment. I could play as a player or return in a different role. I will always be there for the franchise. It takes a lot of toll on the body. I have been out of home for long. The mini-auction will be in the month of December,” he said.
Dhoni’s knee injury has restricted his free flow moment in the Indian Premier League. He has batted lower down the order and even urged his teammate to make him run less between the wickets.
The veteran is only looking to hit four and sixes and has successfully achieved the target set by him before the start of the 16th season.
