Virat Kohli scored a century in the last league game of IPL 2023 between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Gujarat Titans. However, his effort went in vain, and GT won the contest by six wickets, with Shubman Gill scoring a magnificent ton.
Virat’s campaign ended with another failure of not winning the title. He scored more than 600 runs but couldn’t take the team to glory. The former England captain Kevin Pietersen has repeated his request once again. He wants Kohli to join Delhi Capitals for the next season of the tournament.
The legendary cricketer took to Twitter to make his wish loud and clear.
“Time for VIRAT to make a move to the capital city…! #IPL”, wrote Pietersen.
The right-handed batter has accumulated 7263 runs in 237 IPL matches, with seven centuries and fifty half-centuries.
In the 6th season, he accumulated 639 runs in 14 matches, including two hundreds and six fifties.
GT finished the season with 20 points from 14 games, while CSK wers second after amassing 17. LSG (17) are third, and MI (16) are fourth.
