Mumbai Indians decimated Lucknow Super Giants by 81 runs in Elimination match of the Indian Premier League 2023. The Krunal Pandya-led side came to Naveen-ul-Haq’s rescue after his previous posts on RCB and Virat Kohli went viral.
He posted a picture of himself having mangoes to troll Kohli, who was struggling to time the ball in one of the matches IPL. Naveen also mocked the Bangalore-based team after they were eliminated by GT.
His mango post backfired as fans trolled him after LSG’s exit. The magnitude of the trolls was such that Lucknow had to mute words like Mango, Sweet, and Aam.
“I enjoy Virat Kohli’s chants. I get inspiration from them to do well against rival teams. I don’t give importance to such chants as my job is to take wickets,” said Naveen.
Naveen’s four-wicket spell was overshadowed by Akash Madhwal’s, who took 5 wickets.
