Rinku Singh’s ability to remain calm and score runs under pressure has impressed many legendary cricketers. Ravi Shastri, Aakash Chopra, Irfan Pathan, Harbhajan Singh and many others have urged the selection committee to give him a chance for the Men in Blue at tbe earliest.
Reacting to the growing demands, Rinku has made a big statement. He spoke to the media after his team’s last game of the Indian Premier League 2023. He scored a well compiled 67 not out against Lucknow Super Giants at the iconic Eden Gardens.
The home lost the match by 1 run to bow out of the tournament. “I’m not thinking about team India’s selection right now. It’s not in my hands. I’ll keep working on the things which are in my hand,” he said.
Singh scored over 400 runs while batting in the lower-order. He won close games for the two-time champions and is the newest Mr.. Finisher.
