Royal Challengers Bangalore registered their season’s 3rd win after the Virat Kohli-led side beat Punjab Kings by 24 runs in their own backyard. The Challengers, batting first, put a below-par total of 174/4 on the board courtesy of a fifty-plus score from Faf du Plessis and Virat Kohli.
Virat, who was the stand-in skipper for the recently concluded game, circulated his bowlers well, and with the help of a four-wicket haul from Mohammed Siraj, RCB restricted PBKS to 150.
There was one instance from the game which hogged the internet when the camera captured Virat Kohli and Glenn Maxwell engaging in a game of ‘Rock-Paper-Scissor’ while the players were waiting for a DRS decision.
During Harshal Patel’s second last over, the on-field umpire gave Jitesh Sharma, who was the last hope for PBKS, LBW out, following which the 29-year-old took a review. It was then Virat and Maxwell were seen playing the famous game. Here is the video of the incident.

The review went in Punjab’s favour, and Jitesh went on to amass 41(27), but in the end, Punjab fell short of 24 runs. Bangalore are now fifth on the table with three wins, while Punjab slipped to 7th position.
